3. Tea Light Candles, Solar Lights, or Twinkle Lights

How-To

1. Utilize used or thrifted light sconces (I usually score these for around $1-$2 per sconce when I’m at the thrift store. Be sure to check out the hardware/housewares section).

2. Alphabetical & or numerical letter decals. An alternative cheaper option would be to create your own letters and numbers with craft paint and or permanent markers (ex: Sharpie). Place your decals and or paint your desired letters or numbers onto the light sconces. Depending upon how many sconces you have, here are some different words you could spell out: FALL, SPOOKY, AUTUMN, HALLOWEEN, BOO.

3. Find candles at the thrift store such as tea light sized ones. If you’d like to create a more elevated look with a brighter light you could try the twine style twinkle lights (battery operated) or use a solar light (if your porch receives direct sunlight to charge it during the daytime). Place your selected light source of choice into the light sconce place in a secure place on your porch out of the way of pets or kids and away from anything flammable if you’re using candles.
